1Rinse the arroz de grano largo thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
2In a medium-sized heavy-bottomed pot, combine the rinsed arroz de grano largo, agua, canela mexicana en rama, and sal. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
3Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the agua is mostly absorbed and the arroz de grano largo is partially cooked.
