1Rinse the white rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
2Finely dice 20g of the white onion and mince the garlic. Heat 30g of vegetable oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
3Add the diced white onion and minced garlic to the saucepan and sauté until softened and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
