1Rinse Glutinous rice thoroughly, then soak in cold water for at least 4 hours or overnight. Drain well before use.
2Soak Dried lotus leaves in hot water for 30 minutes until pliable. Gently unfold and rinse each leaf. Trim any tough stems.
3Soak Dried shiitake mushrooms in warm water for 30 minutes until softened. Reserve the soaking liquid. Remove stems and slice the mushroom caps.
