1In a small bowl, combine the unsweetened cocoa powder, 80g of granulated sugar, and cornstarch. Whisk them together until thoroughly mixed.
2In a medium saucepan, gently heat 50g of whole milk over low heat. Gradually whisk in the dry mixture from the small bowl until a smooth paste forms.
3Add the remaining whole milk to the saucepan. Increase the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring constantly with a whisk to prevent lumps from forming on the bottom.
