1Wash Toor Dal and Chana Dal thoroughly under running water. Soak them together in 500 ml of Water for at least 30 minutes.
2Drain the soaked dals and transfer them to a pressure cooker. Add 1000 ml fresh Water, 3 grams Turmeric Powder, and 5 grams Salt.
3Pressure cook for 4-5 whistles on medium heat, then reduce heat and cook for another 10 minutes until the dals are soft and well-cooked. Let the pressure release naturally.
