In a small bowl, combine the Masa harina with 150 grams of the Whole milk, whisking until a smooth slurry forms. Set aside.

In a medium saucepan, combine the Water, Piloncillo, and Mexican cinnamon stick. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the Piloncillo has completely dissolved. This should take about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the Mexican cinnamon stick from the saucepan.
