1Bring 1000 grams of water to a rolling boil in a medium saucepan.
2Add small sago pearls to the boiling water, stirring constantly to prevent sticking. Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until most of the sago pearls are translucent with only a tiny white dot in the center.
3Remove the saucepan from heat, cover, and let the small sago pearls sit for another 5-10 minutes until fully translucent.
