Soak Horse gram in fresh water overnight or for at least 8 hours. Drain and rinse thoroughly.

Pressure cook the soaked Horse gram with 700 grams of fresh water for 5-6 whistles until tender. Let the pressure release naturally.

While Horse gram cooks, prepare the spice paste. In a grinder, combine Fresh coconut, Green chili, Ginger, Garlic, Cumin seeds, Coriander seeds, and Black peppercorns with a small amount of water to form a smooth paste.
