1Combine the piloncillo and 150 grams of water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the piloncillo is completely dissolved, forming a syrup.
2Add the guava paste, lime juice, and Mexican cinnamon to the saucepan with the piloncillo syrup. Reduce heat to low.
3Stir continuously, breaking down the guava paste with a wooden spoon or spatula, until it is completely melted and smooth. This process will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
