1Rinse the Loitta Shutki thoroughly under running water to remove any impurities. Soak the Loitta Shutki in warm water for 30 minutes to soften.
2Drain the soaked Loitta Shutki and boil it in fresh water for 10-15 minutes until it is tender. Alternatively, steam it for 10 minutes.
3Carefully remove the boiled Loitta Shutki from the water. Allow it to cool slightly, then flake the fish, meticulously removing all bones and skin. Set aside the flaked fish.
