1Rehydrate the dried porcini mushrooms by placing them in a bowl and covering them with 500g of warm water for 20 minutes.
2Carefully remove the rehydrated porcini mushrooms from the water, reserving the soaking liquid. Finely chop the rehydrated porcini mushrooms.
3Strain the reserved porcini mushroom soaking liquid through a fine-mesh sieve lined with a paper towel or cheesecloth to remove any grit. Set aside.
