1Wash the Moth dal thoroughly and soak it in 500 grams of fresh water for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
2Drain the soaked Moth dal and transfer it to a pressure cooker. Add 500 grams of fresh water and a pinch of salt. Cook for 3-4 whistles or until the dal is tender but still holds its shape. Set aside.
3Heat Ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan or pot over medium heat.
