1To prepare the filling, toast the Black sesame seeds in a dry wok over medium heat until fragrant, about 3-5 minutes. Be careful not to burn them.
2Transfer the toasted Black sesame seeds to a food processor or mortar and pestle and grind until a fine powder is formed.
3In a bowl, combine the ground Black sesame seeds with Granulated sugar and Lard. Mix thoroughly until a paste forms. Chill the filling in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up, making it easier to handle.
