In a bowl, combine 150 grams Gram flour, 10 grams finely chopped Green chili, 5 grams grated Ginger, 2 grams Red chili powder, 1 gram Turmeric powder, 0.5 gram Asafoetida, 3 grams Salt, and 0.5 gram Baking soda.

Gradually add 120 grams Water and whisk until a thick, smooth, dropping consistency batter is formed. Beat the batter vigorously for 5-7 minutes to incorporate air, making the bari light.

Heat 250 grams Mustard oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once hot, drop small spoonfuls of the bari batter into the hot Mustard oil.
