1In a small bowl, combine the Active dry yeast with 50 grams of the Warm water and a pinch of Granulated sugar. Stir gently and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy, indicating the yeast is active.
2In a large mixing bowl, combine the Fine cornmeal, All-purpose wheat flour, remaining Granulated sugar, and Baking powder. Whisk them together thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
3Pour the activated yeast mixture and the remaining Warm water into the dry ingredients. Mix with a spatula or your hands until a shaggy dough forms.
