1Rinse Basmati rice and Urad dal separately until water runs clear. Soak Basmati rice and Urad dal along with Fenugreek seeds in separate bowls with enough water for at least 4-6 hours.
2Drain the soaked Basmati rice and grind it into a fine, smooth paste using a little water. Transfer to a large bowl.
3Drain the soaked Urad dal and Fenugreek seeds and grind them into a very smooth and fluffy batter, adding minimal water as needed. Combine this Urad dal batter with the ground Basmati rice paste in the large bowl.
