1Rinse the Rohu fish pieces thoroughly and pat dry. Marinate the fish with 2 grams of Turmeric powder and 5 grams of Salt, then set aside for 15 minutes.
2Soak the Tamarind in 250 grams of warm water for 15 minutes. Squeeze out the pulp and strain it, discarding any solids. Set the tamarind pulp aside.
3Heat the Cooking oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot or kadai over medium heat.
