1Rinse 500g glutinous rice thoroughly until water runs clear. Soak the glutinous rice in cold water for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. Drain well before use.
2Rehydrate 30g dried shiitake mushrooms and 20g dried shrimp in separate bowls of warm water for 30 minutes. Once softened, drain the dried shiitake mushrooms, remove stems, and dice them into small pieces. Drain the dried shrimp.
3Dice 200g pork belly into 1cm cubes. Dice 100g Chinese sausage into similar 1cm cubes. Dice 100g green beans and 100g carrots into small pieces.
