Rinse urad dal and fenugreek seeds thoroughly. Soak them together in 200ml of water for at least 4-6 hours.

After soaking, drain the water from the urad dal and fenugreek seeds.

In a wet grinder or high-speed blender, combine the soaked urad dal, fenugreek seeds, green chili, and ginger. Add about 50ml of fresh water and grind to a very smooth, fluffy batter. Add more water gradually, if needed, to achieve a smooth consistency, ensuring the total water used for grinding does not exceed 100ml.
