1Prepare the aromatics: Lightly crush the Lemongrass stalks, Ginger, and Green cardamom pods using a mortar and pestle or a rolling pin. Do not finely grind, just bruise them to release flavors.
2In a saucepan, combine Water, crushed Lemongrass, crushed Ginger, and crushed Green cardamom pods. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
3Once boiling, add the Black tea leaves and Sugar to the saucepan. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the tea and aromatics to infuse.
