1Rinse the Red beans thoroughly under cold running water. Place the Red beans in a large bowl and add 1000g of Water, ensuring they are fully submerged. Soak the Red beans for at least 8 hours or overnight.
2Drain the soaked Red beans and transfer them to a large pot. Add fresh Water (approximately 1000g, just enough to cover the beans by about 5cm) and bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain the Red beans again and discard this first batch of Water. This step helps remove bitterness.
3Return the Red beans to the pot. Add another 1000g of fresh Water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the Red beans are very tender and easily crushed between your fingers. Add more Water if necessary to keep the beans submerged.
