1Rinse Basmati rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. Soak the rinsed Basmati rice in 500g of fresh water for 30 minutes.
2While the Basmati rice soaks, gently warm 50g of milk and add 0.5g of Saffron threads to it. Let the Saffron threads steep in the warm milk.
3Bring 1500g of water to a rolling boil in a large heavy-bottomed pot. Add 2g of Salt to the boiling water.
