1Rinse Idli rice, Urad dal, and Fenugreek seeds thoroughly. Soak them together in 500g of water for at least 4 hours.
2Drain the soaked Idli rice, Urad dal, and Fenugreek seeds. Grind them in a wet grinder or high-speed blender with 300g of fresh Water until a very smooth, thick batter is formed. The consistency should be similar to pancake batter.
3Transfer the batter to a large bowl, mix in the Salt, and cover it. Let it ferment in a warm place for 8-12 hours, or until it has risen and become slightly bubbly.
