1Wash 200 grams Basmati rice thoroughly under cold running water until the water runs clear. Soak the washed Basmati rice in 500 grams of fresh water for 20 minutes. Drain the Basmati rice completely and set aside.
2In a heavy-bottomed pot or pressure cooker, heat 15 grams Ghee over medium heat.
3Once the Ghee is hot, add 5 grams Cumin seeds. Let the Cumin seeds splutter and turn light golden brown, releasing their aroma.
