1Wash the Green gram and Raw rice thoroughly. Soak them together in 400 grams of Water for at least 4-6 hours.
2Drain the soaked Green gram and Raw rice. Transfer them to a grinder along with Ginger, Green chili, Cumin seeds, Asafoetida, and Salt.
3Add the remaining 100 grams of Water gradually and grind to a smooth, thick batter. The consistency should be similar to a regular dosa batter.
