11. Wash Urad dal thoroughly under running water until the water runs clear. Soak the washed Urad dal in 500g of fresh Water for at least 30 minutes.
22. Drain the soaked Urad dal and transfer it to a pressure cooker. Add 700g of fresh Water and 4g of Salt. Close the lid and cook for 3-4 whistles on medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Allow the pressure to release naturally.
33. Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and mash the cooked Urad dal lightly with a ladle to achieve a slightly creamy consistency. If the soup is too thick, add more hot Water (e.g., 100-200g) to reach desired soup consistency and bring to a gentle boil.
