1Wash 200g Sona Masuri rice and 50g Moong dal thoroughly. Soak them together in water for 15 minutes.
2In a heavy-bottomed pan, lightly roast the 50g Moong dal over medium heat until fragrant, about 3-4 minutes. Be careful not to burn the Moong dal.
3Drain the soaked Sona Masuri rice and Moong dal. Combine them in a pressure cooker with 750g Water and 1g Salt. Cook for 3-4 whistles or until the Sona Masuri rice and Moong dal are very soft and mushy.
