1Rinse the Beef brisket thoroughly under cold running water. Place the Beef brisket in a large pot with Water and bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low, skim off any foam, and simmer for 40 minutes, or until the Beef brisket is tender.
2While the Beef brisket simmers, rehydrate the Dried Gamtae by soaking it in cold water for 10 minutes. Gently rinse the rehydrated Dried Gamtae several times to remove any sand or impurities, then squeeze out excess water and cut into 5cm pieces.
3Remove the cooked Beef brisket from the broth and let it cool slightly. Strain the beef broth through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any solids, reserving the clear broth. Shred the cooled Beef brisket against the grain into thin strips.
