2Add the pork lard, orange halves, whole milk, water, and sea salt to the pot with the pork shoulder.
3Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low. Cook uncovered, allowing the liquid to slowly evaporate, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. This process can take 2-3 hours.
