1Preheat a grill pan or oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Slice the Pane rustico into 1 cm thick pieces.
2Toast the Pane rustico slices until golden and crisp on both sides. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
3Carefully remove the outer membrane from the Bottarga di muggine. Using a very sharp knife or a mandoline, thinly slice the Bottarga di muggine, or grate it finely if preferred.
