1Soak 300 g of basmati rice in water for 30 minutes, then drain thoroughly.
2Heat 50 g of ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan and fry 20 g of almonds and 30 g of cashew nuts until golden.
3Add 1 g of bay leaf, 1 g of cloves, 2 g of cardamom pods, and 2 g of cinnamon stick to the ghee until fragrant.
