1Rinse the Glutinous rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. Place the Glutinous rice in a bowl and cover with fresh water, allowing it to soak for at least 3 hours or overnight.
2Drain the soaked Glutinous rice completely.
3For the Jujubes, remove the seeds and thinly slice the flesh. For the Peeled chestnuts, chop them into small, bite-sized pieces.
