11. Wash Toor dal and cook it with 300ml water until very soft and mushy. Mash it well and set aside.
22. Soak Tamarind in 100ml warm water for 15 minutes. Squeeze out the pulp and discard the fibrous residue. Set the Tamarind extract aside.
33. Wash and chop the Small purple brinjal into 2cm cubes. Immerse them in water to prevent discoloration.
