1Rinse the 300g Japanese short-grain rice thoroughly under cold running water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
2Place the rinsed Japanese short-grain rice in a rice cooker pot with 360g Water. Let it soak for 30 minutes before starting the cooking cycle.
3Cook the Japanese short-grain rice using the standard white rice setting on your rice cooker. Once cooked, let it steam for an additional 10 minutes before gently fluffing with a rice paddle.
