1Pressure cook 100g horse gram and 50g toor dal with enough water until soft, then mash and set aside.
2Soak 20g tamarind in warm water, extract the juice, and combine it with 150g chopped tomatoes and 8g salt.
3Simmer the tamarind-tomato mixture with 2g turmeric powder until the raw smell of tamarind disappears.
